UpStage Theatre is an all-volunteer, non-profit 501(c)3, family-oriented community theater in The Heights who brings professional-quality live theater productions for both adults and children to the community at an affordable cost. We perform in Lambert Hall at Heights Blvd and 17th Street that we share with Opera in the Heights. UpStage Theatre is a member of the Houston Heights Association and Texas Non-profit Theatres, Inc. Our funding is obtained entirely from private donations and ticket sales. I would appreciate your including us on your website, bulletin board, or Community Events Calendar for June, 2009. You are also most welcome to send this information to anyone who would like to have it.

Our current children's production is Disney's Aladdin Jr. that we opened last weekend and will be running through June 28th on Saturdays and Sundays at 2-3:15pm. This is a full-scale production (22 cast members) of the classic Disney tale of Princess Jasmine, Aladdin, and the Genie complete with songs and palace dancers from the Ancient City of Agrabah.

On Father's Day - Sunday, June 21st - Admission is free for fathers who are accompanied by their children or grandchildren. Ticket prices are $15.
